Support for SAR scholars at the University of Bern
Scholars who would like to apply for SAR assistance please consult the SAR Applicant Guide.
Are you interested in becoming a SAR scholar at the University of Bern? If this is the case, please have a look at the institutes and professors you are interested in on our website, and contact the SAR coordinator who will help you undertake further steps.
Please note that if you would like to apply as SAR scholar at the University of Bern, you should fulfill the following criteria:
- Status of a SAR scholar
- Fully completed B.A. and M.A. studies (this program does not inlcude students)
- Advanced academic career in your home country
- Cooperation with a researcher from the University of Bern
For advice on moving to Bern, contact the Welcome Center, our information and advisory service for international researchers and newly appointed staff. As a SAR scholar, you will receive support from the SAR coordinator and the Welcome Center with immigration and housing issues.
